One of the many things announced at the most recent Nintendo Direct was Katamari Damacy Reroll, the HD remaster of the original game coming to the Nintendo Switch.

The popular, unforgivably Japanese rolling game has been a hit since it's release in 2004. Originally limited to the PlayStation, this will be the first time the Katamari series is on a Nintendo console. It will feature optional gyroscopic controls, while also taking full advantage of the Switch Joycon's HD rumble.

Bandai Namco followed the announcement up with some information of their own. According to a tweet by the company, Katamari Damacy Reroll will be releasing on December 7 of this year for Nintendo Switch as well as PC. Now there are two different platforms that'll be blessed with the king of all cosmos for the first time.

Katamari Damacy Reroll will be releasing on Nintendo Switch and PC on December 7, 2018.
