Interested in purchasing John Romero's 3.5" DOOM II floppy disks? I'm sure you are, especially if you have $3,100 to toss out.

Well DOOM and DOOM II designer John Romero has tossed up his personal copy of DOOM II straight onto eBay.

Yes, via floppy disk. Yes, via 3.5-inch floppy disk.

Granted, you can actually use these unless you're desperate enough to buy an external floppy disk drive (I own one out of desperation to recover old files from the early 2000s).

Sadly and at the time of this writing, the disks have already been purchased for $3,150.
