Lots of games nowadays strive to take advantage of the newest gaming technology. Son of Nor, being one of the latest games, has released today, March 31st, 2015 on Steam.

Developed by stillalive studios and published by Viva Media, Son of Nor thrusts players into the shoes of a Son of Nor, born of the Goddess of the Night, for the purpose of defending the human race and saving them from extinction.

On Noshrac, a desert planet, only one santuary, The Edge, exists for humans. However, the 400-year-long peace on The Edge has been shattered by the return of the Sarahul, humanity's ancient enemy. As a Son of Nor, you must embrace your abilities of telekinesis and terraforming to explore the world and claim victory over the enemy.

Son of Nor involves puzzle solving, trap-avoiding, and the mastery of powers. However, what will be a selling point for this game is the unbelievable implementation of Tobii Tech's eye-tracking technology, the Emotiv EPOC, and Oculus Rift VR. Stillalive studios has partnered with the creators behind the amazing technology, taking 3D and depth to a whole new level.

Side note - Emotiv EPOC is the coolest technology of the three in my opinion, as it relies on the brain computer interface so players can trigger abilities with the power of their minds.

Seriously amazing.

Julian Mautner, CEO and Lead Developer of stillalive studios, expresses his excitement of the launch:

I am thrilled about the launch of Son of Nor. It has been alabor of love for stillalive studios for several years, and we're very excited to finally share it with the gaming community.

Son of Nor is available for $19.99 on Steam for Windows, Mac, and Linux, though you can currently purchase the game for $16.99, a 15% discount. For more information, you can visit the main website here.
