So I recently came across a pretty cool Kickstarter campaign in which several Indie companies are wanting to crash E3 and spread their ideas and concepts on gaming.

As many of you know, Indie Game Companies represent the cutting edge of what game development can and will be in the future. This is where things fly out of the box and all over the place as evident by a few recent articles we posted on games such as 60 Seconds! and Please, Don't Touch Anything.

The main goal of this Kickstarter campaign is to get B.M.C.O to E3 to show off their new Indie Sci-Fi RPG of which some of their game footage can be seen in the trailer below;

If their campaign reaches even higher goals, they plan on bringing more Indie teams to E3 to show off their work. Here's a breakdown of the Kickstarter campaign goal amounts to give you an idea on their plans;
  • $10,000 - The indies get a booth! Expands the campaign from 5 to 10 total teams, with each team receiving one pass into the Expo.
  • $20,000 - Purchases a larger booth space at E3 for interviews and meetings; expands the passes received per team from one to two.
  • $25,000 - Additional funds to put towards contacting gaming journalists, advertising, and making Indies Crash E3 a much bigger and more impactful event.
  • $30,000 - We'll be able to help the indies produce swag and promotional materials so they can make their presence really stand out!
So as you can see, this endeavour could have the potential to be quite impactful. The Gaming Industry will take notice to some degree. It probably boils down to how much money us gamers can throw at it. As of today, the Kickstarter campaign has 88 backers totaling $6,013. So go contribute so that we can help the Indies push their great ideas at E3.
