Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour (2v2) Event: Peace Love & Rockets 2011 Date: Saturday, November 5, 2011 This is the Gamerzunite.com official PLR ZH tournament thread. Please read the important information below concerning the tournament. Currently we are debating on whether to make this a single elimination tourney or a best 2 out of 3. Game Play Rules
Equipment and Other Rules
Automatic Loss Rule
Game Mods and Modified Maps No player shall have any game modifications or modded maps installed or present within their Zero Hour data folder. The data folder should be generic as it was upon the time of game install. We can provide said player with the generic data folder upon request. If said player fears losing data then he/she should backup their data folder and restore it upon tournament completion. Game Pause & Mismatches There will be no game pauses, restarts, or do overs unless a mismatch occurs. In the case of a mismatch, all players will restart and play the match over until a winning team is determined. Tournament Style Either single elimination or best 2 out of 3. This will be determined upon how many teams sign up. Prizes* Players from the top 3 winning teams will receive a prize in the following order: 1st Place Player 1 CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Patriot Supersonic Xpress 16GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Player 2 CORSAIR XMS3 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1333 Desktop Memory Patriot Supersonic Xpress 16GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive 2nd Place Player 1 Kingston HyperX Blu 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Kingston DataTraveler 100 Generation 2 8GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive Player 2 Crucial Ballistix 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 Desktop Memory Kingston DataTraveler 100 Generation 2 8GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive 3rd Place Kingston DataTraveler 8GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive (both players) *Player position is determined by "unit kill count" *Prizes are subject to change. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Teams So far we have 5 registered players for the tourney... I think there was some confusion here, you don't have to reinstall the game to do this, it's just simply copying the data folder somewhere else as backup and copying in the generic one. After the tourney you can copy it back as you desire. So no reinstall needed.... And FYI, the reason for this is to help prevent mismatches.
