Venue & Location
LeachLAN 3 is to be held at the Westwoods Centre in the town of Northleach in the county of Gloucestershire. Conveniently located on 2 trunk roads (the A40 and A429) which connect the M5 and M4, less than 30 minutes drive from Gloucester, Oxford, Cheltenham and Swindon. For those who are unable to get transport by car, there are rail services in the nearby towns of Moreton-In-Marsh and Kemble, both of which have direct bus services (Number 855) to Northleach.
Inside the town of Northleach is a small, but well stocked Londis, a baker, a Cantonese style take away & Chip Shop, and a cafe for those LAN fry ups. For the more discerning sleeper, there are also a number of Bed and Breakfasts a short drive away, or 2 Travelodge's within 15 minutes drive. The nearest supermarket (a Co-Op) is located a 10 minute drive in the Bourton-on-the-water.

Event
Being a social LAN, LeachLAN 3 is a great place to meet up with friends, chill out over a weekend with some fun, non-competitive gaming. Open up some of the old classics, such as Unreal Tournament GOTY and Warcraft 3 but do not think that more recent games will be left untouched more recent games such as Left 4 Dead and Call of Duty 4 will also be played - a good variety of games makes for a great time. Being on a LAN also allows for a lot of larger games, there is no better experience than a big games like Grand Theft Auto, TrackMania Nations or a bit of UT2004 Instagib Minigun which will be organised throughout the weekend.
For the competitive gamer there will also be a number of tournaments, where you can play against fellow lanners for the chance of LAN Glory. And win a few prizes along the way! The tournaments will be chosen by attendees of the event using our usual polling system. To ensure you get the tournaments you would like!
On the social side of things, there is to be a FREE BBQ. A chance to win some new hardware in our raffle. Or chillout with your mates in in our social gaming area. There will also be many more opportunities to socialise with fellow lanners over the weekend!

The event itself costs £35 for a BYOC space if you book before 1st June, and will be £40 thereafter

Early Entry is £5, which allows arrival from 6PM Thursday 20th August!*
Spectator entrance fee is £5 per day or £10 for the entire weekend.
Wireless is available at the cost of £5 for the weekend.
Server co-location is available for the cost of £10 for the weekend.
Additional wired connection is available for £10 for the weekend.
Other Features
The venue has a large grass area suitable for approximately 80 people to camp.
Also in the venue is a well stocked licensed bar selling drinks at reasonable prices (In the region of £2 a pint.
An Internet connection is available for web browsing and chat.
Separate Male and Female showers & toilets.
Disabled access throughout the entire venue.
Hot Water, Microwave & Toast making facilities are available.
