The Crytek Crisis continues today as it was recently revealed via a Linkedin page that the Lead Producer of Crysis 3 and Ryse Mike Read has left the company to search for greener pastures.

In addition, his twitter officially marks him as a former producer for Crytek, which is also pretty telling.  While hardly the kind of email-leaking story were used too when it comes to the developing story of UK Game Developer Cryteks financial woes, its still very telling of the state that Crytek continues to deny it is in.   Its only the latest development in an ongoing story of unpaid checks, protesting workers, unfair/seedy promotions, and dead-end game development.

Over twitter, responding to a fans question, Mike Read said about Crysis 3;

"Some amazing tech behind it for sure.  Wish we could have done more on many fronts."

I'll keep you posted as the Crytek Crisis continues to develop.  With any luck sooner rather than later well get something official from the company itself.
