Blitzkrieg 3 Announced + Teaser Trailer & Screens

Are you a Blitzkrieg fan? Or simply a fan of any Real Time Strategy game? Well, you'll probably enjoy this news as Nival has officially announced the return of this World War 2 game series! Check out the trailer and various screen shots below to make that wait longer...

The Blitzkrieg game series will debut on both the PC and MAC in 2015. It seems that "war" will be the primary focus with little politics involved. The sides involved will be the USSR, the Axis and Allies which each have their own single-player campaigns where players will be involved in an Interactive Story which will include multiplayer as apart of it.

We feel that todays rather rapid pace of life has caused the RTS genre to fall by the wayside. Blitzkrieg 3 is designed to re-invent RTS for modern gamers, using all of our experience to deliver something new and exciting.

They seem to be teasing that more detail will come out within the next few months. This is quite interesting as the fast paced nature of most strategy games has evloved into MMO's and mobile based games so I'm curious as to what direction they will take this game. Will it be some sort of hybrid multiplayer campaign that is an Open World RTS? One might hope.
